Y.1564: The most important test function of the network analyzer, used to test network performance indicators such as network bandwidth (throughput), delay (time between Ethernet packets sent and returned), packet loss rate, and jitter (time difference between two adjacent packets).


RFC6349: Provides repeatable test methods for TCP throughput analysis, systematic procedures, metrics, and standards for optimizing network and server performance.

Loopback: Network analysers are used in pairs. One of them is the master, mainly for error code analysis, frame analysis, RFC2544,Y.1564 or RFC6349 function test, and the other one is the master, mainly for layer 1 to layer 4 loopback (that is, to forward the received data back) test.
